The 6th International Conference Approaches to Phonology and Phonetics

It is our pleasure to announce the 6th International Conference “Approaches to Phonology and Phonetics” (APAP) to be held in Lublin, Poland (June 23-24, 2023). APAP is a biennial event organized by two Polish universities: Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) and John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) which intends to provide a forum for sharing theoretical, empirical, and pedagogical findings on all aspects of phonetics and phonology, with particular attention paid to how the two domains of research relate to each other.

Papers are given 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes for discussion. Abstracts of 250-400 words should be emailed to the organizers at the following address: apaplublin2023@gmail.com

Abstract submission: April 1, 2023
Notification of acceptance: April 10, 2023
Registration and payment of conference fee: May 15, 2023!!!
The conference fee for Polish participants is 450 PLN and for foreign guests 100 euros, or 450 PLN.
(The fee covers lunches, conference materials, and refreshments during coffee breaks. Depending on the budget, we would also like to include a conference dinner - possibly with a small additional payment for those who wish to join).
